1. Who we are

Withio is operated by Conexum Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17305207. We are the data controller for personal data processed through the Withio app and website.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: email address and authentication identifiers (including Google sign-in details where used).
• Profile data: display name, age, city, bio, interests and profile picture.
• Activity data: events you mark interest in, buddy requests sent or received, subscription tier.
• Technical data: device, browser, IP address and basic analytics about how you use the app.

3. How we use it

We process personal data to:

• Create and operate your account (lawful basis: contract).
• Connect you with other users for events you've shown interest in, where you've subscribed to Withio Plus (contract).
• Keep the service safe and prevent abuse (legitimate interest).
• Comply with legal obligations (legal obligation).
• Send service emails. We only send marketing emails with your consent.

4. Sharing

Your profile details (name, photo, age, city, interests) are visible to other Withio Plus members when you express interest in the same event. We never sell your data. We share limited data with service providers who help us run the app (hosting, authentication, analytics), and with ticketing partners only via outbound affiliate links that you click — we don't pass your personal data to them.

5. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We use a small number of analytics cookies to understand how the app is used. See the cookie banner on first visit to manage your choices.

6. Retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your profile and buddies within 30 days, except where we're legally required to retain limited records (e.g. payment receipts).

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these, email hello@withio.co.uk.

8. International transfers

Some service providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or Standard Contractual Clauses.
